🎭 About DAVS (and the Creator Behind It)
 
 
DAVS stands for Discovering Arts Visual Stories - a personal creative platform I launched to bring together my work in music, film, and live productions. It’s where I explore storytelling as a tool for healing, education, and meaningful connection.
 
At the heart of DAVS is me, David Leon, a composer, filmmaker, and creative producer with a background in education, youth development, and sound design. For over 15 years, I’ve helped communities use the arts to grow, express, and connect and I now bring that same energy to new creative partnerships and projects.
 
While DAVS remains my personal creative outlet, I’m equally passionate about contributing my skills to mission-driven teams, youth programs, and media projects that align with my creative and technical strengths.

Whether it’s supporting a production, communications, or marketing department; helping performing artists find their voice; or collaborating on powerful video, event, or storytelling projects in my community, I thrive in opportunities that bring my full creative toolkit to the table, especially in spaces where purpose and imagination meet.
